Come and join Gabby for an educational morning exploring edible and medicinal weeds at Kandanga Farm Store.
Did you know that there are a multitude of plants we come across every time we wander around in the paddocks or bush land which are not only edible but also highly nutritious and medicinal?
Many of these are plants are often referred to as weeds or unwanted vegetation, and as a result are removed and disposed of. There are also a number of plants and herbs commonly growing in our home gardens which can be used as nourishing food sources or medicinal aids, some as teas and others for external use eg. on the skin. Not all plants are edible however so it’s important to know the difference!
Come and join Gabby Scott for a FREE 2 hour wander outdoors at Kandanga Farm Store, followed by a discussion about how to prepare and use some of these common plants. Gabby is a local naturopath, herbalist, chef and avid gardener living in Belli Park.
