We are delighted to be the venue for a HOT COMPOST workshop with Holly & Trev from Regeneridge Permaculture Farm.
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn how to:
- Utilise weed, seed and disease waste to make inoculated compost in just 18 days
- Improve soil health & diversity
- Become more self sufficient
- Increase your compost yield in a fraction of the time!
The workshop will consist of 2 parts.
Part 1: A short theory session to share with you the science and magic of the how, what, and whys of hot composting, approximately 1 hour,
after which we will break for morning tea (included).
Part2: The compost build!! This is where we all get hands on and learn in the best way possible, by DOING!
And a bonus! At the end of the 18 day composting period, come back and see the completed pile and a portion of the created compost is yours!… This can be used as an inoculant in your existing soil or as kind of a “mother” to help kickstart your own compost
pile. You’ll also take home a laminated sheet with all the “need to know” information as well as a reusable “compost schedule” to keep you on track!
