The New Moon is the start of a new period and what better way to start than with a meal celebrating fresh local produce and the pleasure that comes from coming together to eat.

Due to COVID lockdown affecting many of our booked guests we have postponed the dinner to Friday 27th August. Some spots have become available with some guests unfortunately unable to make the new date.

Chef Sam Barnes is taking us to Italy in August. Using local seasonal produce as his inspiration and with a love of homestyle rustic food, he has prepared the following alternate drop menu.

 

Starter

Pea and pecorino risotto V, GF
MVCH peas and rocket from our garden

Pumpkin and ricotta baked gnocchi with Cooloola cream sauce V, GF
MVCH pumpkin, Cooloola cream and herbs from our garden

Main 
K2 Organic beef brisket, semolina gnocchi, seasonal veg, jus
Piggy in the Middle lamb shoulder,  rosemary potatoes, seasonal veg, jus GF

Dessert
Lemon and orange, meringue, lavender ice cream GF, V
Warm strawberry with vanilla Maleny icecream, amaretti

 

Cocktails to complement our dinner will be available for purchase on the night as well as our boutique selection of wine and beer.

It will be cold and we are an outdoor venue. We will have heating but please dress warmly!

Bookings are essential. Our New Moon dinners always sell out FAST so please book early not to miss out.
