As a regenerative, low input crop, industrial hemp is a bright shining light in not only fixing soil, but creating value add opportunities in regional communities. Although grown and used commercially for thousands of years, this diverse crop, with the potential to change the way food, fibre and shelter is produced has been awaiting the right mix of genetics, regulation and agronomic smarts to be viable.
