Honey Miso Dressing

 

This is a favourite dressing at the moment, It is so yummy on salads, roast veges and meats. I love it in the kitchen particularly as it allows us to feature Little Bunya Organics fresh ginger, Wharenui Honey and Summerville Farms Garlic.

 

Ingredients:

2 ½ tablespoons miso paste (check if you need to be Gluten Free as some are fermented with wheat or barley, others rice)

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

3 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the mother!)

½ teaspoon of sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

1 clove garlic finely diced or minced

1 tablespoon finely chopped scallion or spring onion

 

Method:

 

Combine the miso paste, honey and mustard together and mix with a whisk (or use a kitchen aid / food processor) till smooth

 

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

 

Let it steep for 10-15 minutes before using.

 

Put on whatever you want!!
